We Honor Our Members Who Have Received A Coveted “Lifesaving Award” also known as “CPR Save”

“Lifesaving Award” awards are presented to PTAR members who successfully revive a patient who has experienced cardiac arrest.

PTAR’s criteria for “CPR Save” awards is much higher than the industry standard. Many EMS agencies give the award to their members whenever a patient survives at least long enough to be admitted to a floor room of a hospital, even if they expire just a few hours later.

The “Lifesaving Award” award standard at PTAR stipulates that a cardiac arrest patient who has been revived with CPR must survive long enough to be released from the hospital, to hopefully resume a normal and productive life.
