personnel worked to free "victims" who were trapped under a large concrete slab. Once they removed the "victims", and secured them on a backboard, they turned the "victims" over to a different team of EMTs who examined and treated the "victims" and prepared them for transport to a medical facility. One of the "simulated" wounds the "victims" suffered was a piece of metal rebar impaled through their leg.
