Museum On National Doctor's Day

Lorrie Hopson and Wendy Fitzgibbon brought an ambulance to the Greensboro
Children's Museum's "Doctor's Day" on Monday, March 31, 2008.

Piedmont Triad Ambulance & Rescue (PTAR) Emergency Medical Technician
Lorrie Hopson shows a child how a stethoscope works.

She and EMT Wendy Fitzgibbon gave children a look at the inside of an
ambulance during "Doctor's Day" at the Greensboro Children's Museum
on Monday, March 31, 2008.

They let children examine their teddy bears and dolls with a stethoscope,
and administer oxygen to them with a breathing mask.

Children were also given Junior EMT hats, and coloring books.

The EMTs also taught children how and when to dial 9-1-1 for
an ambulance whenever someone is sick or injured.
