PTAR "Employee of The Year" For 2011
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Piedmont Triad Ambulance & Rescue (PTAR) recently announced the winner of their "Employee of The Year" award for 2011. The award was presented during their annual Christmas dinner on December 10, 2011.
The award, which is voted on by PTAR employees, recognizes an employee's dedication, accomplishments, and outstanding job performance.
In addition, the award acknowledges the recipient's training achievements, certifications and overall job knowledge.
The recipient of the 2011 PTAR "Employee of The Year" award was
William E. Bailey, Jr., who has worked for PTAR since August 04, 2003,
and is currently certified at the Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate (EMT-I) level.
In announcing the award, Chief Paula Lineberry said that the "Employee of The Year" award is a very high honor because the recipient is chosen by that person's own coworkers. She said, "The person this year is very deserving, and I think you guys made an excellent choice when you voted for this person. He has a very even personality, and is always pleasant. He always reports to work on time, he knows his job, he takes excellent care of his patients, and always goes the extra mile in seeing that the company's equipment is taken care of." She added, "This person is seasoned, and that's important. He is a veteran employee, and is very deserving to be called the 'Employee of the Year'."
The PTAR "Employee of the Year" award for 2011 was presented to
William E. Bailey, Jr., by PTAR Vice Chairman Jeff Patton.
Following the presentation, Chief Lineberry said, "Thank you, William, for doing a good job. We just don't even have to worry about William. He's out there doing what he's supposed to do, and does a good job with it and he just self supervises, and that's how it is - he's that good."
PTAR EMT-I
William E. Bailey, Jr., is currently assigned to PTAR's Base #10 Station, in northeast Greensboro.
