PTAR "Employee of The Year" For 2009
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Piedmont Triad Ambulance & Rescue (PTAR) recently announced the
winner of their "Employee of The Year" award for 2009.
The recipient of the 2009 PTAR "Employee Of The Year" award was
Lisa K. Bowman, who has worked for PTAR since November 13, 2006
and is currently certified at the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) level.
The award, which is voted on by PTAR members, recognizes an employee's dedication, accomplishments, and outstanding job performance.
In addition, the award acknowledges the recipient's training achievements, certifications and overall job knowledge.
PTAR Chief Paula Lineberry and Board Chairman Gart Evans presented the award during a brief ceremony. They said that it is a very high honor to be voted "Employee of The Year" by a person's own peers, and noted that the award is something which goes to a very deserving individual each year.
Chief Lineberry said, "Lisa Bowman was voted Employee of the Year by her peers because she is energetic about her job, and she cares greatly for her patients and their needs. She is somewhat of a perfectionist when it comes to her job. She never sits idle. She is always busy around the station doing extra things that help others. She is top notch when it comes to providing patient care, and she will go the extra mile to make sure her patients receive the care needed and deserved."
PTAR EMT Lisa K. Bowman resides in southeast Guilford County.
