Our "Employee of the Year" is selected through a voting process by
all of our members, which makes the award especially meaningful to
the recipient.

As PTAR Chief Paula Lineberry presented the awards she said, "We had two people who stood out in everybody's mind as being excellent personnel." She added, "The person that you select should be some- one that portrays all the characteristics of a model technician and employee."

This award recognizes Michael's hard work, devotion to his job, and outstanding job performance throughout 2007. It also speaks highly
of his ability to work well with his coworkers as a team player.

In addition, this award acknowledges Michael's training achievements, certifications and job knowledge, all of which he continually strives to increase and improve upon.

Chief Lineberry said that Michael is a "very seasoned" employee and
he "is 100 percent dedicated to the profession and to this agency."

She said that Michael has been "instrumental in helping PTAR expand and grow over the years, and can be considered as an expert in our field. He is considered an expert because of all the years that he has put into EMS. And we are certainly glad that he has brought that much experience to the table of PTAR." She added, "He is a fine technician and takes very good care of our patients."

Michael has been a member of PTAR since November 02, 1988,
and he is currently certified at the Emergency Medical Technician
Intermediate (EMT-I) level.

We congratulate Michael Allred for being named
as a PTAR "Employee of the Year" for 2007.
